Redeemed and Restoring Biblical Counseling is a personal ministry of Juanitrice Kirby, Certified Biblical Counselor. This is a ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Life is not easy. Jesus told us in John 16:33, “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be encouraged! I have overcome this world”. What does that mean specifically for you and your specific crisis or season of life? I believe that the scriptures are the final authority in all matters. I seek to provide biblical encouragement through Gospel-Focused counsel, allowing the Holy Spirit to work in and through the individual. My desire is to deliver God’s truth; to comfort the hurting and the broken and to
encourage a growing relationship with Jesus.
Life Struggles
Galatians 6:17 says, "For the flesh desires what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit desires what is against the flesh; these are opposed to each other, so that you dont do what you want". Redeemed and Restoring Biblical Counseling seeks to establish a disciplining relationship to address life issues in a manner that honors Christ. Juanitrice has experience in everything from new believer discipleship and relationship difficulties to trauma and abuse. She also has experience in counseling women with anger, anxiety, betrayal, despair, fear, grief, guilt, heartbreak, loss,
self-harm, sexual immorality (including adultery, pornography, & masturbation), shame, suicidal thoughts, unforgiveness, and worry. Juanitrice has counseled many women in all seasons of life (single, married, divorced, and widowed).
Juanitrice was very clear that her role would be to point me to scriptures to address sin areas in my life, either sins I committed and/or sins against me. I need(ed) this accountability and am so grateful to her.

Juanitrice and Jeff have been married for over thirty years and they have three adult children. They are members of Long Hollow Church and both have been trained as TBMB Disaster Relief Volunteers. Juanitrice is also a trained facilitator for Darkness to Light Stewards of Children child sexual abuse awareness and prevention training.
After working for her local church for over 11 years; she stepped out in faith to pursue a personal ministry in Biblical Counseling. She is certified with
ACBC– Association of Certified Biblical Counselors and continues to serve her church locally. Her passion is to disciple and mentor women of all seasons of life as they aspire to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Juanitrice enjoys spending time with her growing family, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and reading.

+ Sessions are available in person and through video platforms.
+ Sessions are one hour. (Please allow an hour and a half for the first session).
+ Sessions are only available for women ages 16 years and up. Couple counseling will be considered in partnership with a male Pastor or Biblical Counselor.
+ Session fees are $50 a session. We accept cash, check, or Venmo. If fees are a concern, please inquire about fee policy.
+ The total number of sessions depends on individual circumstances and personal growth. The idea is not to become dependent on the counselor but to help you understand and apply the scriptures to your everyday life and develop a personal spiritual growth plan.
+ Sessions are faith-based and considered an act of religion.
+ Active participation is expected of the counselee so that growth can occur. Outside work will be assigned as a means of growing your spiritual disciplines.
+ Cancelation policy – We ask that you honor the relationship and commitment by canceling at least 24 hours in advance.
+ Counselor is not licensed or certified as a psychotherapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, mental health professional, marriage and family therapist, or social worker and is not acting in such capacities. Insurance is not billable.
